Join our client in the beautiful Perthshire countryside and step into an exciting role as their Packhouse Manager!
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. If you’re passionate about food manufacturing and ready to inspire and elevate a dedicated team, this is the opportunity for you.
As the Packhouse Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the success of their soft fruit season. Your responsibilities will include expertly managing and training a seasonal staff of 40-50 individuals, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a culture of excellence.
The Role
-Provide exceptional personnel management to efficiently organize and train seasonal staff
-Implement and enhance BRC food processing systems and HACCP principles for fruit and Freeze drying
-Strategically manage stocks to meet packing requirements, including packaging, crates, labels, and film
-Deliver accurate and timely reports for customers and senior management
-Oversee packing and dispatch processes to meet customer specifications
The Candidate
-Hands-on experience in food processing and familiarity with off and in-line labelling and printing systems.
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Ability to collaborate with external partners for orders and transport arrangements
-Proficiency in quality management and sales order processing
-Understanding of sage accounting processes
