Summary
The PIPE model incorporates six core components, which are designed to support and develop individuals living and working in a PIPE. The post-holder will lead in development and implementation of an agreed project plan to ensure delivery of these core PIPE components, working closely with the Probation Service (PS) AP/PIPE Operational Lead (Approved Premises Manager). The Clinical Lead will provide teaching, training, and clinical supervision to staff at Southview Approved Premises to support their understanding and delivery of a psychologically informed service to male residents. The Clinical Lead will supervise and oversee the development and implementation of structured activities and socially creative sessions that form part of the PIPE model. The Clinical Lead will work with the Operational and Clinical Lead for OPD across Yorkshire and the Humber in the development of a high quality, responsive and accessible service including advising both service and professional management on those aspects of the service where psychological and/or organisational matters need addressing. The Clinical Lead will liaise with OPD Pathway Commissioners and the LYPFT OPD Pathway Operational Manager in completion of key performance indicators and assessment and monitoring tools for the national evaluation of the PIPE, to provide regular performance data and project updates to commissioners. The Clinical Lead will supervise and support the Assistant Psychologist attached to Southview Approved Premises. The Clinical Lead will contribute to teaching, audit, research, and cross specialty initiatives relevant to the needs of the LYPFT Leeds Personality Disorder Service. This post is primarily based in York but will also require regular travel across the Yorkshire and the Humber region and to London for National OPD PIPE meetings.
