ESC Officers work 34 hours per week on a set shift pattern which includes evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays. The shift rota consists of 2 x earlies, 2 x lates, 2 x nights followed by 4 days off. This pattern repeats for 10 weeks and then a float fortnight occurs where you will need to be flexible and from an ‘on-call’ standpoint pick up 9 allocated shifts across a 14-day period. These will consist of a mix of early, late, and night shifts depending on annual leave and sickness cover required at the time.
