Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Financial Control & Transactions team, within the Finance Department, at University of South Wales. As one of the largest higher education providers in Wales, the University provides an ideal setting for individuals to develop their careers, nurture their talent and make a difference.



Based at Pontypridd, this role will provide you with an opportunity to utilise your skills and abilities to support teams within the Finance department and the University.



The Finance Assistant will undertake a wide range of duties to include administration, Secretarial Duties and support for the Finance systems. We are looking for an individual who is methodical and organised with an approachable, professional and “can do” attitude to work, who is equally adept at working unaided or as part of a close-knit team.



This is a part time, fixed term post for 6 months.




If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
