Summary
The Best Connection is recruiting for Junior Design Technician for our Wolverhampton based client.
Immediate start available on a permanent basis.
Annual salary of £23,200 starting salary with career progression available.
Working hours: Monday to Friday-37.5 hour week. Hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm
Duties and skills expected of role: Train to use Revit and MWF Shop drawings Train to use design software specific to the machines used in the factory. Train to produce manufacturing shop drawings, material schedules, issue sheets, printing drawings, uploading and downloading drawings, ensuring incoming and outgoing drawings are stored in accordance with company procedures. Ensure workload is produced in a timely manner. If there are concerns about deadlines early warnings should be raised with your line manager so extra resources may be used to achieve the deadline. Be able to work under pressure in a logical manner and with a high degree of accuracy. Work as part of a team and communicate well. Be open and honest, and report any issues and concerns with your line manager or Directors. Train to take off quantities Must have Excel and CAD experience and good attention to detail.
