Salary: G10, from £33,024 per annum pro rata, actual salary £27,319 per annum.
Hours: 35 hours per week, term time. 8.00 am - 3.30 pm each day (with a half hour lunch break).
Cotham School is seeking to appoint a fixed term Year Team Assistant to start in this role as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a new colleague to capitalise on the opportunities presented by this role to gain significant pastoral experience and professional development within a supportive, highly cohesive and experienced team of professionals.
The Role
This post presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate to make a significant contribution to the outcomes and life chances of our students.
The successful candidate will work closely with one of our Learning Coordinators (Heads of Year) with a specific year group of students at the school. The role will entail promoting positive behaviour and developing consistent systems and practices so that students can learn in a safe and secure environment.
In addition, they will work alongside their colleagues to develop the school’s culture of values-based interactions and to ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of Cotham students. The successful candidate will also be a key means of support for those students whose behaviour may be a barrier to them making good progress in school and achieving their potential.
