About the role To provide a high standard of nursing care in our small step-down team within Rainbows Hospice environment, under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for (but not limited to): Under direct supervision, manage the care of children and young people (aged 0-25yrs), as part of the small LTV & step-down team. Ensuring families have every opportunity to become empowered in all elements of their child or young persons care. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, participate in the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of children and young people in partnership with them and their families. Requirements: As a Nurse Associate, youll need to be qualified with a Nursing Associate degree qualification with 1 year post-registration experience in a relevant setting. You will have the ability to deliver patient centered care and ideally have the experience of working with babies, children and/or young people with complex care needs. Long-term ventilation experience is desirable; however, specialist training and development opportunities will be provided. Excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate high standards of clinical care are essential. Further requirements can be found by downloading the Person Specification.
