About the role To provide a high standard of nursing care in our small step-down team within Rainbows Hospice environment, under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for (but not limited to): Under direct supervision, manage the care of children and young people (aged 0-25yrs), as part of the small LTV & step-down team. Ensuring families have every opportunity to become empowered in all elements of their child or young persons care. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, participate in the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of children and young people in partnership with them and their families. Requirements: As a Nurse Associate, youll need to be qualified with a Nursing Associate degree qualification with 1 year post-registration experience in a relevant setting. You will have the ability to deliver patient centered care and ideally have the experience of working with babies, children and/or young people with complex care needs. Long-term ventilation experience is desirable; however, specialist training and development opportunities will be provided.
