Summary
Senior Site Manager required on Stepping Hill Hospital internal refurb project
Start- ASAP, work up until Feb/ March 2025.
Pay Rate= £300-£350/day (Umbrella/CIS)
Main Duties Include:
-Controlling & Monitoring project budgets
-Ensuring the construction works run to strict programme with deadlines.
-Managing pre-construction activities
-Maintaining strict quality control procedures
-Procurement and management of the supply chain & Management of change - client/Company/supply chain
-Lead regular site meetings
-Conducting regular site safety checks
-Being proactive in the identification and resolution of problems
-Maintaining effective long term relationships with the customer
-Ensuring the project team comply with the Companies Business Management System
-Reviewing methods of working, alternative materials etc. in order to maximise commercial profitability;
-Seeking and developing ongoing continuous improvement
-Coaching and motivating subordinates
Required to have the following skills & Experience:
White/Black CSCS + SMSTS + First Aid at Work.
Senior Site Manager experience - lead projects independently
Tier 1 / main contractor experience.
Experience on similar projects.
Experience using IT software including asta powerprojects.
Understanding of different contracts e.g. NEC, JCT.
