Summary
Are you an Occupational Therapist seeking a new challenge? Do you have experience in mental health and community settings?
Service Care Solutions are working with Herefordshire & Worcestershire Health Care NHS Trust to recruit a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to support the South/West Hereford Mental Health Neighbourhood Team. The successful candidate will work across two locations, providing high-quality care to clients with various mental health conditions.
The contract duration is until 20th September 2024, with the likelihood of extension. This is a full-time placement with 37.5 hours available. Part-time applications of 3 days or more will also be considered.
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Location: Ross-On-Wye and Ledbury
Pay: £25.00 p/h LTD
Bonus: £250 Sign-Up Bonus
Job Purpose - Band 6 Occupational Therapist
The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, carrying a defined clinical caseload for individuals. The successful candidate will provide Occupational Therapy for clients with various mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to clients within the community setting.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement and evaluate individualised therapeutic interventions to enhance clients' mental health and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and support for clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Engage with clients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support regarding therapeutic processes.
- Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards as outlined by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Requirements
- Occupational Therapy qualification
- HCPC Registration
- Experience and knowledge in mental health
