Summary
Strategic leadership of the People agenda across the Trust ensuring that the people strategy is delivered and embedded within the directorates and the team can be seen to add value. Strong and effective leadership and continued drive for improved performance across the People directorate and operations. Responsible for ongoing partnership working with key stakeholders including trade unions and health and directorates.
The post holder will be responsible for the service offered within their accountabilities for each and every employee by setting the tone and culture of the organisation at key points in the employee journey challenging where this is not being delivered and having proactive plans to address any outliers. The post holder will be responsible for the effective provision of the employee relations service, Investigations team, and people business partnering in KMPT. There will be a high focus on delivering great service and continually learning from experiences/feedback.

• Support the Deputy Chief People Officer, HR Operations with the strategic leadership of the People agenda and delivery of employee relations and HR business partnering in the KMPT.
• Take specific responsibility and provide the day-to-day leadership and management of Employee Relations and HR Business Partners working alongside the People team senior leadership team and providing day-to-day support and coaching to the team. They will be a subject matter expert for HR Operations being the voice and main point of contact for the team.
• Develop, implement, communicate, and embed policies, toolkits, and practices that support a fair, inclusive, proportionate, and compassionate approach to people management.
• Analyse data, monitor trends, and develop and implement an approach to ensure continuous learning and quality improvement in how we serve KMPT.
• Provide expert analysis of highly complex employment issues where no precedents exist, interpreting employment legislation and case law and providing guidance to the People Directorate, KMPT Managers, and Directors.
