Summary
Graduate Electrical Design Engineer
This company, a leading manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire, is seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in Electrical Design Engineering to develop their skills and experience in a well-established company.
The hiring manager is looking for someone who has knowledge of Electrical Design and Engineering techniques, as well as some experience with CAD (preferably Autodesk Inventor).
We are looking for someone who lives within a 20 mile radius of Telford, Shropshire. Relocation packages are not being offered.
What You Will Do
• Identify customer requirements
• Read design specifications and technical drawings
• Research suitable solutions and estimate costs and timescales
• Work to standards, including British (BS) and European (EN)
• Liaise with others in the design team
• Communicate with clients and contractors
• Attend meetings on site
• Design and conduct tests
• Qualify the final product or system
• Prepare product documentation, write reports and give presentations
What You Will Bring
• A certificate/qualification in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or previous Electrical Design/Engineering experience
• Previous experience with CAD
• Competent with Microsoft Office packages
