Summary
Job Title: Trust Foundation Doctor (equivalent to Foundation Year 1 or 2) Posts: 3 posts, fixed term for 12 months, shorter term appointments will be considered. Hours of Work Full time/Part time: Up to 40 hours per week without on-call commitment, part time appointments will be considered. These posts are aimed at junior doctors who wants NHS experience or who would like to gain more experience in medicine before committing to a particular career pathway. Post holder will rotate to specialties in medicine working predominantly in wards supervised by consultants to look after patients with variety of medical issues. Post holder will be assigned a clinical supervisor and will be encouraged to keep a portfolio of your experience as well as participating in all activities such as audit, mortality and patient safety work. Post holder will not have on-call duties / out of hour duties. However, negotiation is possible if post holder wants to participate in on-call / out of hours duties.
