Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable drivers for our Private School Run Role. If you have a passion for driving and enjoy working with children, this position offers a fulfilling opportunity with excellent benefits.
Role Details
Shift Timings:
Morning Shift: Approximately 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM Afternoon Shift: Approximately 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Pay Structure:
School Run Pay: £450 per week
Fuel Reimbursement: £0.22 per mile (capped at twice a day, tax-free) Depending on your location.
Shift Payment: Paid for 3 hours per shift, regardless of if the school run is between 1.5 - 2.5 hours.
Additional time may be spent cleaning the vehicle.
Work Hours:
Optional Overtime: Available Monday to Friday up to 10 hours. Weekend Overtime: Additional hours available every other weekend.
Weekly Hours: Role can average 40 hours per week for full-time or 30 hours per week for part-time, based on preference.
The position requires:
Current PSV (cat D) licence
Current driver qualification card (CPC)
Current Digital Tachograph Card
Employment Terms:
School Term Only: The role is primarily during school terms.
Holiday Schedule: Paid holiday schedule provided to ensure continued earning.
Additional Work: Potential for other work opportunities outside of school terms if desired.
Responsibilities
Safely transport students to and from school according to the scheduled route and timings.
Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle. Ensure compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
Provide a friendly and professional service to students, parents, and school staff.
Communicate any issues or concerns promptly to the management team.
