This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Harper & Keele Veterinary School.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the assessment processes for the professional Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery programme. They will work in conjunction with the Programme Director and Director of Veterinary Education on design and quality assurance of assessment. They will work closely with academic staff, students, technical and administrative teams to ensure the smooth and effective running of assessments and compliance with university policies and the requirements of regulatory bodies.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight of assessments across the five years of the veterinary programme, ensuring the smooth running and quality of assessment leading to an enhanced student experience. They will work on developing and benchmarking school assessment processes with similar professional programmes and other higher education institutes.

You will have a degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification, significant experience of teaching and assessment in Higher Education, experience of working with cross-disciplinary teams, familiarity with higher education assessment procedures, enthusiasm for innovation as well as exceptional leadership, communication and organisational skills.
