Summary
Ward Security is looking for a pleasant Front Desk Officer; to undertake all receptionist duties at our client’s premises at Asticus, a building exceptionally located for transport connections, with St James’s Park underground station immediately adjacent, and Victoria and Westminster stations within a short walk. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information.
A customer-oriented approach is essential.
The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.
Position: Receptionist
Pay rate: £14.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri 0800-1700
Location: The Asticus Building,21 Palmer Street, London SW1H 0AD
Must have:
• Frontline SIA license
• Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front of the Hose Officer or similar role (min 1year)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Duties:
• Act as a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
• Ensure all visitors and other callers to the company are given sufficient information by giving clear, concise information in person and over the phone or email.
• Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
• Respond to emergencies
• Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
• Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
• Carry out ID checks
• Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
• Work on own initiative
• Ensures that the reception area, foyer, staff area, and board room are kept clean by supervising cleaning staff members.
