Summary
We are looking for someone with a passion for dogs and a desire to learn the dog grooming trade. You will learn to perform all grooming-related duties necessary to ensure that pets are neat, clean, and look their best. The apprentice period will last for 2-3 years and you will be level three qualified at the end of the period if you pass your exams.
Responsibilities:
• Learning how the dog industry works
• Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets.
• Complete Level three training
Qualifications
• Sound understanding of animal behaviour
• The ability to stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to treat all animals with compassion.
• The ability to lift heavy pets and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
