Summary
Job Purpose
To provide high-quality, person-centered support to individuals with mental health issues, helping them to achieve their personal goals, improve their mental health, and live as independently as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide emotional and practical support to individuals with mental health issues.
· Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, fostering trust and mutual respect.
· Assist service users in setting and achieving their personal goals.
· Encourage and support service users to engage in community activities and access other services.
· Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided.
· Participate in regular supervision and training sessions.
· Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety.
· Always Promote the values and mission of St Helens Mind
