Summary

Job title: Cover & Attendance Coordinator Salary: CSET 9 £27,711 FTE, £23,840 prorated Hours: 37 Hours, 39 weeks od the year (term time only + INSET) Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st August 2025, with possibility of being extended Location: Mangotsfield School, BS16 9LH About the role You will play a pivotal role in ensuring continuity of teaching and learning by taking primary responsibility for arranging cover for teaching colleagues and coordinating timetable issues linked to school events, such as exams. This role has a 7am start time each day, so as to ensure that you are ready to deal with cover requirements as and when they arise. You will direct the school’s cover supervisors on a day to day basis under the direction of the School Operations Manager. In addition you will ensure that all attendance records are maintained and monitored so as to ensure the least amount of disruption to the curriculum. You will provide support and information and be responsible for the administration of the Pupil Attendance System.
