Role: Field Service Scheduler Where: Southampton outskirts Salary: c£26-27,000pa

Our client an established and privately owned company with a purpose to be a leader in the transition to a sustainable world have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Scheduler to join their friendly team. You will be responsible for taking ownership of scheduling all engineer service visits and planning regional engineers' diaries. You will also be the main point of contact for the field service team, receiving site reports, checking for accuracy and ensuring any necessary action is taken. The company are currently operating on an informal hybrid basis and offer an excellent range of benefits including 25 days holiday + BH and they have an early finish on Fridays.

Responsibilities will include:

Organising a team of field service engineers' diaries.

  • Taking ownership of Third-Party Service documentation.
  • Dealing with emails and telephone calls from field-based engineers to ensure queries are dealt with in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Raise requisitions and purchased orders.
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with other departments.

You will need:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • The ability to see a job through to completion.
  • A positive 'can do' attitude.
  • The ability to plan ahead.
  • To be a team player.
  • Previous scheduling experience (advantageous).
  • MS Office skills
