Summary


This is an exciting opportunity to join our Urgent Care Service, working across all teams to ensure an efficient & high quality service is provided to the Single Point of Access (SPA) and Central Flow Hub (CFH), Stepdown Houses, Integrated Discharge Team (IDT and the Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service (MHCAS).

We are looking for a full time (37.5 hours a week), motivated and enthusiastic individual, with a wide range of office skills to provide business support to the Urgent Care services.

The post holder will work closely with the business manager and service managers across urgent care supporting them in service delivery.



The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. Oversee the Associate Practitioners and Senior Site Manager in their day to day activities at the Single Point of Access (SPA) and Central Flow Hub (CFH) as well as ensuring a smooth operation in all Urgent Care teams, escalating issues and reporting highlights as appropriate.

Provide training and support to staff when there are changes to processes and systems, and to work with service managers to ensure adequate training in systems used across Urgent Care are achieved.

To support theUrgent Care Business Managerin managing change and improving processes and systems with the Single Point of Access (SPA) and Central Flow Hub (CFH) and wider Urgent Care Service.

To participate, and where necessary lead on IT improvement initiatives in the Urgent Care service, managing good relationship with technical partners to ensure the smooth running of the Teams and a rapid response to any technical issues that arise.

To take the lead and support in any audits and quality monitoring initiatives by collecting,collating, analysing and presenting all activity data inthe SPA, CFH and wider Urgent Care Service.
