The Homerton Fertility Centre is looking to recruit a number of highly motivated individuals to join the team .
We are looking for x2 Reproductive Science Practitioner, Band 5 (37.5 hrs per week)
The Homerton Fertility Centre offers comprehensive assisted conception services, and performs around 900 fresh IVF/ICSI cycles and 600 FERs annually.
The Homerton is a small welcoming team of fertility professionals. We share the same vision for exceptional patient care and support a wider service that provides Gynaecology and Obstetric services for a diverse population across North East London.
The service has recently experienced a number of issues, prompting us to collaborate more with regulators to maintain high quality patient care. Considerable work has been undertaken to review the patient pathway, make sure competencies and standard operating procedures are in place and that staff feel empowered and are able to provide the best care for patients. The team has been open and learned from other organisations who deliver exemplar practice.
This has resulted in the news that Homerton Fertility Centre can resume treating patients from 8thAugust 2024, from a suspension of service in April 2024.
This advertisement is to recruit to several key roles, enabling us to implement the new pathways and continued redevelopment of the Homerton Fertility Service.
What can we offer the successful candidates?
This redesign of the Homerton service offers the candidates a unique opportunity to influence and input to the ongoing service improvement. Working within a team culture where all disciplines are respected and supported, ambitious individuals will have the opportunity to deliver something new and make a meaningful impact. Regular individual team ‘huddles’ are in place along with weekly wider team updates. While challenges remain our team has stayed united in improving the care we provide to our patients. Our Executive and Divisional teams are incredibly supportive of the improvements already made and those currently in progress.
Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a high performing and flourishing organisation serving the population of Hackney, East London, The City and beyond.
