Casual Early Years Practitioners
RAFAKidz Nursery, RAF Cranwell NG34 8HB
£11.44 - £12.35 depending on qualifications

RAFAKidz Cranwell is not only an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Nursery, we are also a finalist in the 2024 Nursery World awards in September!

Are you looking for a flexible job in childcare to fit around your family, studies or work life balance? Whether you are ready to further your early years career, looking for a change or just starting out, then RAFAKidz may be a great fit!

As one of 16 settings in the RAFAKidz family, RAFAKidz Cranwell have a passionate and ambitious team of circa 50 staff who take great pride in supporting 140 children aged 0 -5 in a stimulating, exciting, educational and fun environment at our modern facility based at Wellesley Way, Sleaford. In addition, we provide a Before and After School club which plays a key role in the community by offering this provision to 78 children.

Our Casual colleagues have access to the same training opportunities as our amazing team and you’ll be the first to hear of any permanent roles which suit your skills and experience should you be looking for something more permanent in the future. Whilst previous experience within a childcare setting is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for Casual Nursery Assistants who have a genuine love of children, warmth, patience and a great sense of humour! We will give you a great induction experience, training and development opportunities and you’ll be learning on the job from leading practitioners in the industry! A typical day in the role will include (depending on your experience):

• Being hands on and creative with messy and outdoor play activities
• Helping with meals and snack times
• Keeping records on children’s progress and daily activities and adventures
• Maintaining highest standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene
• Meet and greet families and build great relationships
• Be willing to learn from colleagues to understand EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
