We are looking for a committed, proactive, hands-on Duty Manager who would enjoy working in an exciting, fast-paced environment at Jamboree. Recently relocated to King’s Cross from its original East End home in Limehouse, the venue is located in a cobbled alleyway perfectly suited to its intimate, unique charm (please see www.jamboreevenue.co.uk/about/ ). At Jamboree we celebrate musical forms from around the world, while also providing a home for the theatrical arts, cabaret, jazz and European folk, often accompanied by traditional dances.

In order to succeed as Duty Manager, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently. You will be a skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and a diplomatic, flexible

Duties and Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the Bar Manager on objectives and work independently on shifts. Together with the Bar Manager and the Assistant Bar Manager, Duty Manager will promote the business and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent service.

● Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls.
● Ensuring licence conditions are effectively followed by all.
● Working with diverse personalities, including staff and patrons.

possible safety or legal issues, ejecting unruly persons, if needed.
