Summary
Your new company
You will be joining the on-site maintenance team at one of the largest employers in Midlothian. Due to a project being signed off, they are looking to add a Roofer to their team.
Your new role
Hays are currently seeking an experienced roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in roofing, including both repair and installation.
- Conduct roof inspections and assessments
- Repair or replace damaged roofing materials
- Install new roofs, including shingles, tiles, and flat roofing systems
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional service
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a time served or SVQ qualified Roofer to be considered for this position, ideally with experience in roofing repairs & maintenance. Due to the mobile nature of the role, you will be required to have a full UK Driving Licence and be able to make your own way to the yard for an 8am start.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a long-term position on a standard Monday to Friday work pattern. We will pay you weekly PAYE with no additional charges, and you will have the option to have paid annual leave accrued.
