We will have different clients in Essex and London and are looking for Skilled Landscape Gardener / Horticulturist to work on a wide variety of projects, ensuring all elements of Landscaping and Horticulture are delivered to a high standard. We are an expanding business looking to expand our business in a supportive and sustainable manner.

A successful candidate will work on a wide variety of projects, from private gardens to small-scale commercial works. They will have a strong sense of initiative and the ability to organise themselves to carry out the required tasks. They must have experience in various elements of landscaping duties, including:

Experience as a Landscape Gardener:

Paving
Brick and block work
Steps and Cladding
Foundations and sub-base preparations
Setting out
Decking and general woodworking
Water features
Fencing
Irrigation
Planting

Experience as a Horticulturist:

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Cultivation and Maintenance:
Select, plant, and care for a variety of plant species, including trees, shrubs, flowers, and grasses.
Monitor plant health and implement pest and disease management strategies.
Prune and trim plants to ensure optimal growth and aesthetic appeal.

Soil and fertilisation:

Analyse soil conditions and recommend appropriate amendments and fertilisers.
Implement soil conservation techniques to maintain soil health and fertility.

Irrigation Management:

Design and maintain efficient irrigation systems.
Monitor and adjust watering schedules to meet the needs of different plant species and weather conditions.
Landscape Design and Planning:
Collaborate with landscape designers and architects to develop plant selection plans.
Create aesthetically pleasing and sustainable planting schemes.
Research and Development:
Stay current with the latest horticultural research and techniques.
Conduct experiments and trials to improve plant health and performance.
Develop and implement innovative horticultural practices and solutions.
Professional maintenance Horticulturist with excellent plant ID /knowledge

Skills:

In-depth understanding of plant care and cultivation.
Familiarity with sustainable and organic gardening practices.
Ability to diagnose and treat plant diseases and pests.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Creative and innovative thinking in landscape design.

The minimum Experience required is 10 Years in Landscape Gardening & Horticulture
