Summary
It’s an exciting time to join the team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UKandI businesses to transform and deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. We’re looking for a Head of Data Architecture to provide technical leadership for Data, MI and BI architecture across AXA UK and Ireland.
Reporting into the Chief Technology Officer, you’ll define the data architecture framework, data standards and roadmap ensuring AXA develops reuseable data assets and products using all new technologies and information systems.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you’ll be doing:
Providing vision and direction for our data architecture roadmap
Assessing new and existing strategic AXA UK and Ireland products to identify opportunities for data platform development
Driving simplification of the data technology estate through use of common industry standards
Monitoring the development of data across UK and Ireland to ensure our data management practices remain up to date and effective
Working with the UK CDO leadership team to define the organisations strategic data architecture
Creating and developing a data architecture as a service capability, leading by example and showing the value of a data-led approach through excellent execution
Ensuring alignment of technologies to the prescribed target architecture, data framework and data management practice
Representing data in the wider AXA UK Architecture community
