Luton Council is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Network Operations team as a Technical Assistant. This pivotal role will involve providing essential technical and administrative support to ensure our records and databases are meticulously maintained and customer requests are handled efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Network Operations team with technical and administrative tasks to maintain accurate records and databases.
• Respond to customer requests promptly and ensure they are resolved appropriately.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports and documents.
• Plan, organise, and prioritise your workload to meet targets and deadlines.
• Collate, interpret, and analyse information and data.
• Maintain both manual and computer-based records accurately.
• Identify instances of discrimination in service delivery or in the workplace and take appropriate action.

About you
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Demonstrable experience in general office administration practices and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to deal politely and tactfully with a wide range of people.
• Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in using word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages.
• Ability to use and accurately maintain both manual and computer-based records.
Qualifications:
• Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
