Summary
Trainee chimney sweep progressing to become a solid fuel heating engineer.
Leaning all aspects of chimney and flue installation, chimney sweeping both manual and power sweeping. Becoming a fully qualified chimney sweep both domestic and on occasion commercial premiss.
After taring the successful candidate will be working on their own in customers homes working to dedicated appointments. Keeping the surrounding clean and tidy. Learning to carry out safety tests and issuing safety certificates. Taking payments and controlling and using payment machines. Driving from appointment to appointment and keeping customers updated. Starting salary circa £25k raising to £30k once experience is gained. Further progression into the stove fitting engineering side of the business where the successful person Can maintain and install solid fuel heating products. With salary's £39-£45k are achievable.
Full contracted training will be provided for the correct person to progress to higher levels of the competent persons scheme.
A full Clean driving licence is required and the candidate will need to be over the age of 24 years to comply with our fleet insurance .
