Summary
Young persons support worker - Watford
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We need dedicated individuals to support separated migrant children in their journey to independence.
Role Details:
- Client Focus: Each house supports 5 clients, opening one house at a time.
- Shifts: 08:00-16:00 or 13:00-21:00, with 1 weekend every 3 to 4 weeks.
- Contract: Temporary (2-3 months) likely extension.
- Pay: £14 - £18 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe, stable living environment.
- Guide clients to access employment, education, and training.
- Address health and wellbeing concerns.
- Conduct 1-1 sessions to promote independent living skills and provide emotional support.
