Overview

Join us as a Pact Visits Centre Assistant across one of our London prisons, where you'll play a vital role in supporting families
during their visits to loved ones. Your primary responsibility will involve working within the prison's visitor centre, but your
duties will extend across various areas such as the visits hall, play area, and tea bar. You'll create a safe, welcoming space
while offering guidance, support, and essential information to friends and families navigating the complexities of prison visits.

About You:

To excel in this position, empathy is key. You'll need a deep understanding of the challenges faced by families in difficult
circumstances, particularly those involving prisoners and their loved ones. Strong organisational skills are a must, as you'll be
juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities. Additionally, any knowledge or experience in safeguarding and child protection would
be a valuable asset. Essentially, you're a genuine 'people person' ready to dive in, work diligently, and contribute meaningfully
to our visits center team in whatever capacity necessary.

What Pact Offer:

Pact offer a wide range of employee benefits including free confidential advice and counselling service, cycle to work scheme,
life assurance, eye care vouchers, generous annual leave plus more. You will have the opportunity to attend internal training
events to further develop yourself as an effective support work and you will undergo a thorough induction process and be supported
by a friendly and enthusiastic team.
