The Opportunity:
You will provide leading contributions in shaping a portfolio of proposals to secure funding success in research and knowledge exchange. You will provide advanced specialist advice to researchers and collaborators as well as coordinate development needs across a portfolio of bids with varying dimensions and complexity involving a range of different internal and external funders.
This post is fixed term available from September 2024 until 31 August 2025.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns for not less than 0.8fte (28 hours per week), or requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Degree in relevant subject or equivalent formal training, plus typically a minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in a similar or related role(s) or Typically 5 to 8 years’ vocational experience, demonstrating development through involvement in progressively more demanding relevant work/roles (Desirable).
Thorough knowledge and understanding of supporting and developing bids in research environment or working with similar design considerations in any other transferable environment
Established track record of collaborative working and relationship management across different groups and partnerships.
Clear understandings of codes of practice, regulations and statutory obligations in relevant field
Experience of balancing portfolios of work and developed knowledge of governance and risk in projects (Desirable).
