Emergency Services Clerk
(Band 3)
We have an exciting vacancy to work in our busy Emergency Department.

Responsible for the computerised data entry of all information onto relevant systems on behalf of the Clinical Business Unit (CBU). As part of the Emergency Services Team, deliver a high standard of service to those patients attending all the clinical areas within the CBU. To work as part
of the multi-disciplinary team to enable necessary information to be collated. To be responsible for Emergency care notes in accordance with local policies and procedures, the Data Protection Act and to ensure confidentiality at all times.
Key working relationships: All staff within the multi-disciplinary team and all departments Trust wide as appropriate to the care of patients.
Role of the Department: Unscheduled and Emergency Care and on occasion Training.
JOB SUMMARY
To support the emergency team to provide effective, efficient service to patients that meets national targets for delivery. Follow all patient journeys ensuring that they are seen in a timely manner and escalate any deviations.
