We are seeking well-motivated and forward-thinking Physiotherapists to join our Band 5 staff.



The Physiotherapy department at Frimley has a proactive approach to rehabilitation within the acute setting and we are looking for the right candidates to help promote the role of Physiotherapy. Under the guidance of an experienced team, you will have the opportunity to develop both clinically and managerially within a friendly and supportive environment where excellence is encouraged.

We have rotations which are 4 months duration in the following specialities:


• Medicine (Cardio-Resp/General Medicine)
• Surgery/Critical care
• Vascular
• Orthopaedics (Trauma/Elective)
• MSK OP (Hydro/Gym/Dept)
• Stroke (Acute)
• Parkside private wing / Paediatrics
• Community - enhanced recovery and support at home

You will work within the rotational team to provide excellent assessment and treatment to patients, under the guidance of senior physiotherapists. Each rotation has a comprehensive training programme and you will also be part of a yearly preceptorship programme -a structured transition to guide and support newly qualified practitioners from student to autonomous professionals.

· To be responsible for implementing, within your clinical practice, the standards and policies in each speciality and where applicable propose change to working practices.

· To maintain a high standard of clinical care using evidence based practices and evaluate the outcomes.

· To be responsible as an autonomous practitioner to undertake a significant specialist clinical workload

· To undertake the comprehensive assessment of patients using investigative and analytical skills and seek guidance from senior staff as required.

· To devise an individualised physiotherapy management and/or treatment plan, using clinical reasoning skills to utilise a range of treatment options in formulating a programme of care.
