Summary
Recsure Personnel are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller for a company based within the Telford area. This position will be working mainly day shifts, Monday to Friday and will be a straight permanent position.
This role will include some of the following duties:
- Manage stock locations is stored in the WMS as and when required to.
- Address all stock queries presented by the Picking Teams quickly and competently.
- Ensure the Stock Control Department is well organised and controlled sufficiently to be able to support the Picking Teams.
- Perform cycle count checks
- Minimise missing stock and incorrect stock movements
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
- Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted and addressed where appropriate
- To ensure that all Health & Safety policies and procedures are complied with and fully maintained
In order to be suitable for this role you must have the following experience:
- Proven experience of stock management in a logistics or warehouse environment
- PC literate with excellent Excel skills
- Experienced and competent with a WMS (Epicor / Red Ledge desirable)
- Keen eye for detail as this role is as much about accuracy and quality, as speed
- MHE experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
- Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst multitasking
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
