Summary
Job Purpose:-
Rostech Acoustics is a dedicated workshop that is committed solely to suppling acoustic sound deadening pod boxes to the large back up diesel engine manufactures.
These boxes are designed into either end of the generator boxes providing the designed air flow with minimal sound pollution to the environment.
Rostech Acoustics has been created to take the manufacturing of these pods away from the finished product manufactures.
Duties:-
Within this role you will be expected to have an excellent understanding of sheet metal work and working to tight tolerances.
You must be capable of the fabrication of sheet and folded components.
Fabricate and weld repetitive box enclosures
Select the correct parts for work
Demonstrate good safety behaviors in the workplace, ensure all rules and procedures are adhered to at all times and wearing correct personal protective equipment.
Also applicant would be expected to help out around the workshop to produce the final product.
Responsibilities:-
• To be able to fabricate and weld using MIG welding techniques
• Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings
• Hard working and motivated
• Keen eye for detail and able to work to tight tolerances
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Keep area tidy and take responsibility of regular machine maintenance
Physical Requirements:-
This is a fast paced working environment.
There will be lifting and pressing piece parts involved so a strong able body would be required.
Task is for repetitive folding with excellent attention span.
