Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to join our team in the Wimbledon area, South West London. The successful Fire Stopper will be responsible for installing all areas of fire stopping applications. As a Fire Stopper you will work closely with our project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure all fire stopping installations meet industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fire stopping in various building structures.
- Ensure all fire stopping installations comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Identify and report any issues or deficiencies in fire stopping installations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fire stopping techniques and industry best practices.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard of safety and quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire Stopper or in a similar role within the construction or fire protection industry.
- In-depth knowledge of fire stopping products, materials, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with local building codes, fire regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications or training in fire stopping are highly desirable.
