As an Assistant Brand Manager you will effectively support the brand management of our Health food brands at Tesco. Assisting the strategic brand development process including NPD and packaging development and communication planning.

This role will see the successful candidate play a key part in delivering market leading Health ranges at Tesco and therefore having an innovative and consumer-centric mindset.

You will be responsible for

  • Supporting the strategic planning process for Own Brand Health at Tesco which includes Tesco Free From and our positive health brands
  • Keeping up to date with the latest customer health and wellness trends and competitor activity to spot opportunities for Tesco
  • Supporting the creation of compelling and insight led concepts
  • Analysing customer and commercial insight to make bold choices about where Tesco should prioritise investment for customers.
  • Work with cross functional teams within the milestone process to turn concepts into propositions across the 6ps (product, price, place, packaging, promo, people)
  • Developing strong relationships with natural work teams, and other key stakeholders both internally and externally to drive forward the brand strategic plans for Own Brand Health and Free From
  • Working with the communications team to feed the Own Brand Health priorities into the relevant parts of communication plan
  • Support the analysis of brand performance, building recommendations to grow our Health brands at Tesco
  • At peak periods supporting and managing projects for the wider Own-Brand team for Produce, Bakery & Dairy and Quality.
