We are currently on the lookout for an Employment Advisor to join us at Get Set.

As an Employment Advisor, you will manage a diverse caseload, helping clients overcome barriers to secure meaningful employment. You will create personalised action plans, assist with CVs, and provide employer-led advice and guidance. Your role involves assessing client needs, delivering high-quality services, and empowering individuals through targeted support. By motivating clients, improving their skills, and ensuring they are job-ready, you will play a crucial role in fostering long-term success. Your dedication will help reduce unemployment, promote economic growth, and create inclusive communities.

Your Impact:

  • Client Support: Offer personalised advice and support to clients, helping them develop skills and secure employment.
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring each receives tailored guidance and support.
  • Job Matching: Identify suitable job opportunities and assist clients with applications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with employers, training providers, Job Centres, Housing Associations, and other stakeholders.
  • Empathy: Signpost customers to services that can help them overcome challenges related to drug, alcohol, housing, and finance concerns
  • Workshops and Training: Understand and signpost to workshops and training sessions to enhance clients' employability skills.
  • Mentorship: Provide ongoing mentorship and support to clients.
  • Data Management: Keep accurate records of client interactions and progress for reporting and compliance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • KPI Achievement: Work towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client outcomes.
  • Feedback & Improvement: Engage in continuous feedback with clients and stakeholders to improve services.
  • Technology Utilisation: Use modern technologies and systems to enhance service delivery.

  • Technology: Proficiency with data management systems and modern communication tools, including MS Office.
  • Ambitious and Resourceful: Shows innovation in supporting customers and confidence in a target-driven environment.
  • Empathetic: Demonstrates empathy towards vulnerable or challenging groups, showing a strong desire to help.
  • SMART Planning: Experience in creating SMART action plans and conducting individual needs assessments.
