Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Fire Door Surveyor to join our team in Nottingham. The successful Fire Door Surveyor will be responsible assessing the condition, functionality, and compliance of fire doors according to current regulations and standards. This Fire Door Surveyor job requires a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of fire door regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed surveys of fire doors in commercial, residential, and public buildings.
- Identify and document any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
- Prepare accurate and detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations.
- Advise clients on necessary repairs or replacements to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Stay updated with current fire safety standards and regulations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire Door Surveyor or in a similar fire safety role.
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
- Proficient in report writing and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites.
