Your new role
They are looking for a proactive Accounts Assistant with a 'can do' attitude and excellent communication skills. The role will be working closely with the Finance Controller.
- Reviewing invoices received from all suppliers for accuracy, appropriate level of approval, and adherence to established guidelines.
- Supplier statement reconciliation.
- Weekly / monthly bank reconciliations.
- VAT, Intrastat Returns.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to resolve queries.
- Processing the payment runs on a weekly basis.
- Processing intercompany recharges.
What you'll need to succeed
- Recent and relevant experience of the above accountabilities and duties.
- Make recommendations regarding improvements to quality and increased efficiency, productivity, and standard work.
- Either studying or looking to study towards a professional accounting qualification.
