Summary


The post holder will provide high quality nursing care and work towards developing and working within a cohesive multidisciplinary team. The expectations within this job description will be met through Leadership, hands on clinical practice, education and training, and research. The post holder will also have the opportunity to develop skills towards attaining a Senior Practitioner post in the future if they so wish.

1. The role includes the provision of advanced nursing care to patients during surgical pre- operative assessment clinic and includes performing a full health assessment and co-ordinating all aspects of the patient’s admission. All assessment are digitally conducted but there is occasion when patient is assessed face to face due to individual needs.



The Qualified Nurses post is characterised by five principal role functions: -
