Summary

The Recruitment Team at the University of St Andrews is seeking to appoint a motivated individual to deliver a diverse range of recruitment activities during an exciting period of transformation. Joining an established and collaborative team operating within HR, this is a key role that will support the People Enabling Strategy in its aim to attract high quality candidates that make a positive impact to the organisation.

​As a key point of contact throughout the hiring lifecycle, you will have the opportunity to partner with a wide range of stakeholders across the University. You will provide advice and support to hiring managers in the period before recruiting, advertise and source candidates, and play an important role in ensuring an effective interview process is delivered that results in a successful appointment. As a key member of the Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing relationships with candidates and hiring managers, including issuing correspondence to successful and unsuccessful candidates.

​As a visible and people focused role, the position will suit an individual keen to develop or progress a people focused career in HR or Recruitment. In addition to delivering on key hiring activities for the University, you will have exposure to other units in HR that work closely with Recruitment such as Data and Support & Advice. This will include the opportunity to gain practical experience by providing hands on support to these teams when required.
