Applications are invited for the position of Paralegal within the Civil Litigation Team in Legal Services based at Middlesbrough Police Station and Central HQ Hemlington.

The post-holder is responsible for assisting the lawyers in the handling and management of Civil Claims and other legal cases brought by and against the Chief Constable. The Post Holder may also be required to assist in other casework across the wide range of police legal activity with which the team deal, and with preparing responses to Freedom of Information requests. The role operates within a small professional legal team and the wider collaborated legal team.

You will deliver a high quality service, have the ability to prioritise workloads, applying professional judgement to make effective decisions.
