The role
As a Project Assistant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will oversee the full lifecycle (from quotation to delivery) to ensure that it's a streamlined process from end-to-end.

Day-to-day, you'll deliver key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery, including schedule, financial and risk functions.

  • Management and delivery of several (Circa 80) on-going enquiries and orders received into the Spares and Kitting department.
  • Support the development of accurate and up-to-date financial reporting to support Business reporting to senior management.
  • Manage the planning, monitor and control of work packages being delivered by other internal and external resources.
  • Apply the Business Management System (BMS) appropriately for the project and produce and communicate project-reporting data on Project Controls and Finance systems.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home, based in Leicester.

Essential experience of the Project Assistant:

  • Enthusiastic about getting into Projects-with an appreciation towards what a Project lifecycle consists of.
  • Somebody who's worked in a project environment or warehousing, would consider school leavers looking to get into a career.

Qualifications for the Project Assistant

  • Keen to learn and happy to work towards APM qualification.
