Summary

Professional Healthcare & Regulatory Engagement Officer is the lynchpin job assuring the future of the AMS, by recruiting and nurturing the best of the best Professionally Qualified medical, nursing and allied health professional individuals to work within the LAND operating arena.

An individual with DBS is essential as this role engages closely with bursars and cadets within sixth forms, universities and University Officer Training Corps.

Walking these potential AMS Officers of the future through the Recruiting and prolonged Phase 1 trg pathway requires a very particular skill set. Linking in to the Royal Colleges of Med, Dent, Nursing and Vets – and aligning with both Army Pers Pol / ARITC and DMS Pol (Unified Career Management (UCM) Med) for a seamless functionality will always be the challenge.

Organisational skill is required to ensure Boards are run in accordance with sS Pol and aligned to Career Management (both Army Personnel Centre (APC) and UCM), as well as Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for entry into training pathways which may be up to 7yrs in length, owned by the External providers and the Defence Medical Academy (DMA).
