Summary

At Little Laura's we value and support each individuals contribution in helping children grow and flourish in their Early Years, giving the best possible start in their learning journey. We are a privately run nursery, open for 14 years, looking for a qualified Practitioner, who loves the outdoors and has an enthusiasm to inspire the next generations. Alongside our nursery building we enjoy a Forest School space in private woodland. We are open 8am - 5:30pm, 50 weeks of the year (closed for two weeks at Christmas.)

You must be a driver due to the location in a small rural village, have childcare experience, knowledge of the EYFS, brilliant communication skills and real enthusiasm working with children aged 12 months plus.

We are rated Outstanding from Ofsted, due to our highly qualified, supportive and knowledgeable team, who promote our ethos. Our management team is onsite and work alongside the practitioners in the room. We believe that by working above ratio, children's learning opportunities aren't missed and we can provide quality time to each child.

All aged children are together, promoting that family feel, with the younger children learning from older and the older children showing empathy and strengthening their new found skills through repetition.

We are passionate about getting childcare the recognition it deserves, as we are the foundation to our next generations future. We are the ones that parents turn to when they can’t afford a private speech & language therapist, or are struggling with; behaviour, returning to work, sleep, the jump from 1-2 plus children! The list is endless and we value our team for all they do.

We offer six monthly bonuses, pay above the living wage, additional holiday for length of service, health and well being support, along with a generous birthday gift and time off.

All we can say is, if you are wanting to be part of a team, feel that you are making a difference to those families and have your work recognised then we are the setting for you.

To be considered for this role please send your most up to date C.V. We welcome applicants to visit the Nursery.
