Summary

Job Description:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of multiple construction projects across the North West. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership and project management expertise will be crucial in driving project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage resources effectively.
  • Oversee and direct project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and clients.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably with a Tier One contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites across the North West region.
