Deputy Home Manager

Hourly Rate: £13.50

Hours per week: 40

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to join our team at our care home nestled in a beautiful and quiet residential area. The Deputy Home Manager will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility and delivering high-quality care and support to residents learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

Qualifications
  • Level 3 Health and Social Care or above
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a residential care setting, with a thorough understanding of care regulations and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of care and support staff.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a focus on promoting inclusivity and diversity within the workplace.

Day-to-Day
  • Support the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the care home for individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome.
  • Assist in the management of staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and providing leadership and support to care and support teams.
  • Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring that residents' individual needs are met and their well-being is prioritized.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect within the care home, promoting equality and embracing the unique backgrounds and experiences of all residents and staff.
  • Collaborate with external healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to provide holistic and person-centered care to residents.
