About the roleT-level qualifications are a relatively new, government-backed, career focused qualifications for 16 to 19 year olds. These two-year courses have been designed with employers from multiple sectors and combine college study with a substantial industry placement to prepare young people for the world of work, or further study such as a higher-level apprenticeship or university.
This is a new role within our Construction curriculum area. You will facilitate the delivery of T levels by undertaking the tracking and monitoring of students while they complete their industrial placements. This role will involve liaison with students, parents, employers and teaching staff and a substantial amount of the role will be carried out while visiting students in employer premises while they complete their industrial placements.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and reviewing student progress, accurate and timely record keeping, effective communication with all stakeholders, and ensuring that employers are providing students with safe, supportive and relevant industrial placement activities.
As T Levels are new qualifications, there is no necessity for applicants to have any prior knowledge or experience of this provision type to be successful in this role as full training will be given.
About the PersonYou will have excellent communication and administration skills, be adaptable and have a strong attention to detail. You should have a working knowledge of the basic professional standards expected by employers such as personal presentation, time management and administration, as well as a working knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
You should be confident in managing your workload independently and be proactive in building relationships to ensure clear and regular communication at all times.
