Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for either a band 7 or band 6 Speech and Language Therapist with experience in working with an adult neurology caseload to develop their leadership and clinical skills in a supportive, forward thinking and friendly team that offers great CPD opportunities. Our team works across Hull and East Yorkshire providing adult speech and language therapy across a number of community settings including community inpatient units, specialist multi disciplinary stroke services, community clinics and domiciliary visits. Our service sees clients with a range of conditions including neurological disorders, voice difficulties, stammering, frailty and respiratory conditions. There is excellent admin support and established caseload management processes in the team to support staff.

We are fully committed to staff development and a robust supervision and appraisal framework in place. You will be supported by both the SLT team lead and operational manager and have peer support from other band 7s within the service. Staff are supported in accessing external training and have been involved in research and service development projects. Staff are also provided with the necessary information technology to enable flexible and mobile working. If you have specific clinical interests within our service area we would be interested in seeing if we can support these within your workload.
